Bar and bat mitzvah photography in South Florida
The rite of passage into adulthood. These are the moments that show how much a child has grown — and how fast the time went. They can’t be recaptured, so don’t leave them to an amateur with a camera.
The coming of age. These are incredible moments parents share with their children, moments that capture the growth and maturity a child goes through. They are precious, and they show how fast time flies. These are the times of life that cannot be recaptured — when you hire Joey G, you are not leaving anything to chance.
If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera.Dedicated to my son Justin, who taught me more than I thought I knew.

Gallery, by moment
I have had Joey G. take photographs for the Mrs., Ms. and Teen Florida U.S. Continental pageant for the past 10 years, and he has provided us with top quality photographs and is a professional in every aspect of his work.
Is your date still open?
Send me the date and the temple or venue — Joey G will come back to you the same day.
Every job is quoted for the day you’re planning — call and Joey G will price it.
Mitzvah questions
It depends on the synagogue, and I find out before your date rather than on it. Where photography is allowed I shoot from a distance with a long lens, no flash and a silent shutter. Where it isn’t, we plan re-creations and portraits around the service instead.
Most families book once the date is set with the temple, which is often a year out. Call anyway if your date is closer — sometimes it’s open.
Yes — studio or on location, weeks before the date, so there’s time to use the images for the sign-in board, the invitations and the montage.
Ask me for the current turnaround when you book — it depends on the season and on whether you’ve ordered an album.
