I’m Joey G — this is a small, one-person photography business, and this page explains in plain language what information I collect through joeygphoto.com, why, and what your choices are. If anything here is unclear, email me at joeygphoto@yahoo.com and I’ll explain further.

Who we are

Joey G Photography is a photography business based at 3801 Simms St, Hollywood, FL 33021, serving South Florida. This website is operated by Joey G individually — there is no separate company entity, marketing department, or third-party agency involved in handling the information described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly

The only information this website actively collects is what you submit through the contact form (used to check availability for a date or ask a question). That form asks for:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Occasion (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, family portrait)
  • Event date
  • A free-text message

Phone number, occasion, event date, and message are optional; name and email are required so I can respond to you. The form also includes a hidden field used only to catch automated spam submissions (a “honeypot”) — it is invisible to real visitors and collects nothing from a human filling out the form. We do not use a CAPTCHA or any third-party spam-verification service.

There is no newsletter sign-up, no marketing email list, and no automated follow-up sequence on this site. Submitting the contact form does not sign you up for anything beyond a reply from Joey G about your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and content-delivery network automatically log some technical information when you visit — for example, your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the date/time of your visit. These are standard server logs used for security and troubleshooting, not for building a profile of you.

If we use analytics tools on this site (such as Google Analytics), they may set cookies and collect aggregate information about how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on site, general geographic region, and referring site — so we can understand what content is useful. This data is reported in aggregate and is not used by us to identify you personally.

Why we collect this information

We use the information above only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
  • Check availability and schedule a photography session or event
  • Keep a record of client communications for our own business purposes
  • Maintain and secure the website, and understand general site usage

We do not use your contact-form information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Where your information is stored

Contact-form submissions are stored privately in this website’s WordPress database (not publicly visible or searchable) and are also emailed directly to Joey G’s business inbox. Submissions are not shared with any marketing platform, CRM, or third-party data broker.

Who has access to your information

Joey G is the only person with regular access to contact-form submissions. Our web hosting provider and the developer/agency who maintain the site’s technical infrastructure may have incidental access as needed to keep the site running securely — they do not use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-party services we use

This website relies on a small number of outside services to function:

  • Google Fonts — the site loads typefaces from Google’s font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font makes a request to Google’s servers, which will see your IP address as part of that request, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare — website images are served from media.joeygphoto.com through the Cloudflare content-delivery network, which helps pages load faster and more securely. Cloudflare may log standard technical/request data as part of delivering that content.
  • Google Analytics — if enabled on this site, Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregate, anonymized-where-possible usage statistics, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Payment processor — if and where we offer fine-art prints for purchase, checkout is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; the processor handles that information directly under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device. This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Cookies may be set by the services described above (for example, analytics or, if you shop for prints, the payment processor) to remember basic preferences or session information. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality, such as staying logged in during a print purchase.

How long we keep information

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably useful for scheduling, record-keeping, and following up about your event — generally no longer than a few years after your last contact with us — after which older inquiries are periodically deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time; see “Your choices and rights” below.

Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you’re located, you may contact us at any time to:

  • Ask what personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information from our records
  • Opt out of any further contact from us

If you are a California resident, these choices are consistent with rights described under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA); if you are located in the European Economic Area or UK, they are consistent with rights described under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are a small local business and do not hold any third-party privacy certifications, but we will make a good-faith effort to honor any request like this. Children’s privacy

Joey G Photography regularly photographs children as part of family portrait sessions, bar/bat mitzvahs, and school picture days. This section explains how that’s handled:

  • Photographs of children taken at an event or session are taken under a written or verbal agreement with the hiring adult — the parent or guardian for a family/portrait session, or the school itself for school picture day. We do not collect personal information directly from children through this website; the contact form and all booking communication is with the parent, guardian, or hiring organization.
  • We may feature select event and portrait photographs, including photographs of children, in our portfolio or on this website, but only with the permission of the hiring client (parent, guardian, or school). We do not publish identifying photographs of a child without that permission.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and would like a photograph of your child removed from this website, email joeygphoto@yahoo.com with a link to or description of the photo, and we will remove it promptly.

This website does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the contact form or any other means.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this site, including relying on our hosting provider’s and Cloudflare’s security infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new service or third-party tool. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
